YEScarolina Plans 8th Annual Gala to Raise Funds for Student Entrepreneurship

Tables & Tickets are on sale for YEScarolina’s 8th Annual Gala, A Night in Old Havana, scheduled for October 19th, 2017 at The Charleston Gaillard Center.

Enjoy a night in Old Havana at YEScarolina’s 8th Annual Gala at The Gaillard Center. This year’s Cuban affair will feature a formal dinner by the Gaillard Award winning Chef Frank S. Halasz , appetizers by the world-renowned Hall Management Group, and desserts by the talented Pastry Chef Cynthia Wong of Butcher & Bee!

Live entertainment will be provided by the Emerald Empire Band. In addition to an evening of dinner and dancing, YEScarolina will also host a student business showcase, and recognize teachers and students in an award ceremony. The first ever Jimmy Bailey Scholarship (In Honor of our Founder Jimmy Bailey) along with the Ronald L. Motley Memorial “Big Heart” Award will be awarded this evening to two outstanding students. There will be a raffle for a luxury getaway, plus a silent and live auction featuring exciting items provided by sponsors.

This is YEScarolina’s primary fundraiser for the year. Funds raised at the gala benefit YEScarolina, enabling this local 501c3 nonprofit organization to provide entrepreneurship training to South Carolina teachers and empower students throughout the state with a meaningful and experiential entrepreneurship education that is relevant to the real world.
