THE HARBOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

The top students from the YEScarolina Regional and State Business Plan Competitions will be invited to a six-week mentorship and accelerator program in collaboration with The Harbor Entrepreneur Center in Charleston, SC. Students will be paired with mentors who are comprised of Harbor Accelerator graduate founders and community business leaders where they will meet on a weekly basis for six weeks, culminating with a pitch presentation and reception. The curriculum for the weekly sessions will range from knowing your customer to competitive advantage to building a pipeline and beyond.

“Much of The Harbor’s vision is built on the pay it forward mentality. The proven entrepreneurs in the community stepped up to mentor start ups in The Harbor Accelerator, now those founders are thrilled to share what they’ve learned to mentor the student teams involved in this program. YEScarolina has done incredible work with student entrepreneurs for years so this collaboration makes nothing but sense for both organizations,” stated John Osborne, co-founder & director of The Harbor Entrepreneurship Center.
