Q: Who is eligible to take the class?
A: Any public school teacher, guidance counselor, or career development facilitator.  Principals are encouraged to attend.

Q: Why is there a deposit if the class is free?
A: The deposit is to reserve your seat in the class and is returned to you at the session unless you do not show up for class.

Q: How do I apply?
A: Click here to download our scholarship application into Microsoft Word.  Fill the application out in Word, print, and mail with deposit.

Q: How do I know if I have received the scholarship to attend the training session?
A: You will receive an email from YEScarolina upon receipt of your application indicating whether you have been admitted, are placed on a waiting list, or the class has already been filled.  Please be sure to include an working email address on your application.

Q: What do I need to bring to the class?
A: Nothing, all the materials and supplies are provided.  You may want to bring a personal laptop on the third day of training as many teachers prefer to use their own device.  However, you are NOT required to bring a personal laptop.

Q: How do I know where to go?
A: Directions to each session are provided on our website under the Training Sessions tab.

Q: What if I am teaching an unrelated subject?
A: The NFTE curriculum is easily integrated into any subject matter.  This curriculum can be used as a stand alone class or as a supplement to your existing curriculum.
