BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION JUDGES NEEDED

Throughout the year, there are several opportunities to judge a business plan competition. YEScarolina is always in need of local professionals, men and women, to donate their time to judge, time, & monitor the students’ business plans. ANNUAL GALA ASSISTANCE

Volunteers are needed each year at the YEScarolina Gala to assist with the execution of this major event. The annual gala is YEScarolina’s largest annual fundraiser, making our teacher training and student entrepreneurship programs possible. Everything from general setup, to hosting the silent auction, to administrative work is needed. If could lend a hand, please contact us at yes@yescarolina.com.

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

The top students from the YEScarolina business plan competitions will be invited to a six week mentorship and accelerator program in collaboration with The Harbor Entrepreneur Center. Students are paired with mentors who are comprised of Harbor Accelerator graduate founders and community business leaders. Community business leader are needed to volunteer their time to mentor a student. Mentors will meet with their student on a weekly basis for 6 weeks over the summer, culminating with a the students’ pitch presentations and a reception. The curriculum for the weekly sessions will range from knowing your customer to competitive advantage to building a pipeline and beyond.
